The Royal Golf Club of Tangier is located in the wonderful forest of Tangier which contains miles of woodland and natural beautiful landscapes. The Royal Golf is considered as one of the oldest golf clubs in the Mediterranean basin. This golf course was inaugurated in early nineties to offer its international members the chance to enjoy the vast green lands of Tangier. The Royal Golf Club was reconstructed, and enlarged over the years ahead by famous international architects who gave it an Anglo-Saxon character.

Even the king Hassan II contributed in the evolution of this fascinating golf club by adding an attractive house club in 1991. The Royal touch reflects the passion of Moroccans towards this game, that was followed later by a significant financial investment to improve the design of the golf course which are magnificently presented by lakes and attractive natural sceneries surrounded by different types of Mediterranean trees of pine, fir, willow in
order to give this gulf club an international dimension and to portray an outstanding glamour to become the most attractive golf course in the north of Morocco.
